the Step Aboard way

A hair & body spray fragrance that combines BoV technology,
urban inspiration and a contemporary vision of scent.

THE INSPIRATION AND PHILOSOPHY OF A

NEW OLFACTORY EXPERIENCE

Step Aboard Milano blends art, fashion, style and urban culture into a single label: a new olfactory experience that is entirely Milanese. The idea behind Step Aboard was born from the research and the need of its two young founders to create an intuitively usable fragrance, suitable for both hair and body.
A product designed to create surprise, combining ease of use, graffiti-inspired design and olfactory emotion. A true change of direction in niche perfumery design.

How does BoV 360° technology work?

BoV 360° technology (Bag-on-Valve) keeps the fragrance separate from the propellant through an inner bag connected to the valve. This system allows the product to be sprayed in a continuous, even way, delivering a precise mist from any angle.

For Step Aboard, this means a more practical and contemporary gesture: a hair & body spray designed to move with you, easy to use and aligned with a freer, more dynamic, everyday idea of fragrance.

BoV technology also helps create a more consistent application, with a light and steady diffusion that supports the identity of the scent without weighing it down.

DESIGN

Very close attention was paid to the graphic design, conceived by Georgiana and refined by some of the most established professionals in the field. The olfactory values were captured within a fresh, playful metropolitan image. The visual identity, dynamic and cosmopolitan, sparks curiosity while conveying creativity, innovation, and a sense of wonder.

The main inspiration for the packaging was the spray can used for graffiti, which led to the choice of an aluminium colour palette, adding a contemporary and playful touch. Georgiana and Daniele introduced fluorescent green details that define the first line dedicated to Milan, choosing the donut as one of the brand’s distinctive elements.
